Covid-19

So many people sick in bed; All with faces cherry-red. But there’s a way to make a bubble; A way to stop this bunch of trouble. The numbers rise Up to the skies. Have they ever noted How dangerous was Covid? But do the people care to do a task As simple as wearing a clean mask? Do they ever listen To wash hands ‘til they glisten? Do they ever care to think To visit soap and flowing sink? And to keep the space between People, friends, and family? To sanitize and polish handles, To make them glow like little candles? Or to take a little vaccine? Just to escape this dreaded scene? Perhaps if people cared more about it, We’d be living freely without it. Then we’d all rejoice, And they would hear our voices: “We are free!”
